  • What types of wine do you offer?

    Natural wines. Wines that are made in small batches, usually hand harvested, organically farmed, unfiltered, and no chemical additives outside of minimal use of sulfur dioxide.

  • Can I purchase bottles of wine to take home?

    Yes. We are a cafe and bottle shop. You can purchase bottles at retail price for taking home.

  • Do you offer wine club memberships?

    Yes! Every month we curate an excellent selection of wines retail priced in the $30/bottle range. Tiers of 3,4,6 featured and you get 10% off all in house purchases at GH. More info here!

  • Do you have outdoor seating?

    Yes. We have a lovely outdoor patio with tables and lounge seating, as well as a couple of tree covered picnic tables for larger groups.

  • Do I need a reservation?

    We are a walk-in, counter service spot. If you would like to make a reservation in advance for parties of 8 or more, please dm us or email hello@goldenhouratx.com

  • What kind of coffee do you serve?

    We use specialty beans from Amaya Roasting Co. out of Houston. Amaya sources only coffee of the finest quality, working directly with responsible coffee farmers from around the world

  • When and what is your Happy Hour?

    Mon-Sat 4-6 PM. $2 off all bar food menu items, $2 off wines by the glass, draft beers, and wine cocktails. $10 off bottles.

  • Can I rent out Golden Hour for a private event?

    We do offer buyouts for private events and parties from time to time. Depending upon the day and event. Please email hello@goldenhouratx.com for more info!

  • What kind of food do you serve?

    By day, we have a modern cafe style menu with homemade grab and go pastries, sandwiches and a celebrated breakfast burrito.

    At night, we have a wine bar menu with a selection of European influenced snacks and shareable plates. We also have a kitchen menu of market driven appetizers and entrees, meant to pair with wine, and curated for a fine casual dinner experience.

  • How do I order?

    At Golden Hour, we are primarily counter service with limited table service throughout the day and evening. You may order at the bar counter to begin your experience, and reorder at your table using a QR code. You are always more than welcome to come up to the counter to reorder or add on.

  • Do you accommodate dietary allergies?

    We are peanut free. Everything is prepared from scratch and that includes food items from the “Big 9”. Please warn our team ahead of time if you have an allergy (not an aversion) and we will do our best to prevent cross contamination. You dine out at your own risk, and we are not responsible for health outcomes of food ingredients or preperation.

  • Do you accommodate for dietary restrictions or aversions??

    Yes and No. We will do our best to accommodate when possible, but generally our food items are offered as sold, so check with our team! We do have gluten free crackers available for items served on/with our homemade bread.
